Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The website loads once, then all processing happens in your browser. Documents are never sent to a server or stored by us.
Which formats are supported?

Can I merge several files?
Yes. Select or drop several files at once — they become one PDF. Drag thumbnails to reorder pages, rotate or delete them.
Why is it so fast?
Effects run on the GPU, pages are processed in parallel threads, and finished images are embedded into the PDF without re-compression.
Are there limits?
Up to 50 pages and 100 MB at a time, 72 to 216 DPI. Word and Excel files are laid out by the browser, so the layout may differ slightly from the original.
My PDF is password-protected
The scanner will ask for the password. It is only used in your browser to open the file and is never sent anywhere.
Will the text stay selectable?
No. Just like a real scan, every page becomes an image. Use OCR if you need searchable text.
