What Let's Scan is

Let's Scan is a free online tool that turns PDFs, Word and Excel files, presentations and photos into documents that look like they came off an office scanner. It adds a slight skew, grain, uneven light, edge shadows and paper tone, and saves the result as a single PDF.

How it works

All processing happens in your browser. Files are never uploaded, stored or viewed by us, so the tool suits documents with personal or commercial data.

There is no sign-up and no watermark, and over a dozen formats are supported: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, RTF, EPUB, photos (including iPhone HEIC) and more.

What people use it for

Mostly to style an electronic document as a scan when there is no printer or scanner: applications, forms, contracts, letters, coursework, mockups and sample documents.

The scan effect is purely cosmetic. It gives a document no legal force and must not be used to forge documents. See the terms of use.
